Join me at the Hunters Point Shipyard Open Studios, April 27-28, 2024, a biannual event when most of the artists (more than 100) open their studios to the public. For this Spring Open Studios I will have the new series I’ve been working on, large (2 x 3 feet) color photographs of trees. In addition, there will be a set of smaller photographs (13 x 19 inches) in black and white of the urban forest.
I will also have several copies of the book “Beneath Our Feet”, photographs of sidewalk graffiti in San Francisco. These are handmade — printed on Lokta paper with Japanese binding. Single images of some of the images from this book will also be available as cards.
And finally, my as-yet-to-be-published book “Messages from the Mission’ will be on display.
